MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - A Memphis barbershop owner is going viral after sharing a unique recipe on Facebook.

Rahman McWilliams, amateur chef and owner of Cut Lab in Oak Court Mall, shared a post of his rotel spinach dip and started a social frenzy.

The recipe was posted Monday and has since accumulated 25,000 shares and 5,100 comments.

“I’m just happy that the world liked what I did,” said McWilliams. “I didn’t know I was making something up that the world didn’t know; I’m glad that I was able to bring a new dish to the community.”

McWilliams says he comes from a cooking family and is now sharing more of his dishes on social media with more to come.

“I’m into the barber business so I wasn’t expecting any of my dishes to go viral like that, so it’s fun,” he said.
